The integration of IB2M, a multi-disciplinary design office recognised for its expertise in building engineering, will enable Egis to continue developing its territorial coverage while expanding its range of services.
With 40 employees working in its five branches (Rodez, Mende, Toulouse, Figeac and Aurillac), IB2M provides recognised local engineering expertise in the fields of concrete structures, timber frames, project economics, HVAC and electrical engineering, biomass, geothermal energy and energy efficiency.
Thanks to its global approach to construction projects, the company offers its customers solutions with a high environmental value, based in particular on the use of renewable energies and a comprehensive carbon sequestration strategy, in particular through the design of load-bearing timber structures.
With more than 16 years' experience in its market, IB2M supports its customers in the engineering of a wide range of new and refurbished projects, including hospitals, cultural, social and sports centres, housing, industrial buildings, commercial buildings and thermal power stations.
Major projects include the waste recycling centre at Vivier (Aveyron), the head office of Crédit Agricole de l'Aveyron at Gages, the Institut National Universitaire at Rodez, the clinic at Saint Jean de Vedas (Hérault), the event centre at Mende, and the Furiani stadium in Bastia, to name but a few.
