The transaction of the concession contract for the 3rd Parisian airport, including the modernisation and extension of the airport led by Egis in the Bellova consortium, was awarded the "Deal of the Year for an Airport Project" by the IJ Global Awards.
The IJ Global Awards annually provide international recognition to major greenfield or refinancing operations in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as to the companies that carry them out.
The parties involved in the transaction included Egis, Serena Industrial Partners, Bouygues Construction, Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur, TIIC, as well as the consulting firms Orrick, KPMG and BDO.
The 30-year concession contract for Beauvais Airport includes the modernisation and extension of the airport to bring its capacity to 8 million passengers per year, while achieving the highest environmental standards and reducing carbon emissions by 2032: the BREEAM Excellent certification and the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) 4+ from the Airports Council International’s (ACI) voluntary program. The airport has already achieved the ACA Level 4 Transformation at the beginning of the year.
The Bellova concession company is composed of Egis, Bouygues Construction Airport Concessions, and Serena Industrial Partners.
